 Testing the Pak-Lite!
The Pak-Lite Idea....
There's nothing more aggravating than to run out of daylight before you reach your destination. Experienced hikers share one thing in common: your backpack should be packed as efficiently as possible for your journey. The last thing you want to carry is extra needless weight. One of the rules of hiker survival is to have a reliable multi-purpose flashlight at all times. Batteries can be heavy and seem to wear out quickly. That is why the Pak-Lite idea was born. Developed from experienced hikers, Pak-Lite has tested and proven to be a great light for hikers. This champion, weighing in at 1.5 ounces, lasted from Mexico to Canada on a 2,600+ mile journey without changing a single battery or light bulb! Put that in your backpack!
Light for 3,600 miles = One Pak-Lite & One Lithium Battery

"In 2002, I bought a Pak-Lite and used it to thru-hike the 2,600 miles of the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) and another 1,000 miles on the AT (Appalachian Trail) this year. My last day on the trail I gave it to another hiker who was walking from PA to GA and needed a flashlight, so I ordered a new one. Thanks," C.B.

Works at subzero temperatures and other extreme conditions.
45 Days in a Block of Ice

We put the Pak-LiteTM Flasher with a Lithium Battery to the test. We turned it on the Red Flashing mode and put it in the center of a block of ice. It was still flashing after 45 days!

Airplane Drop

Air Drop......
Dropped out of an Airplane going 100 mph at 250' ft. Works like new!

One Year of Light = One Pak-Lite & One Lithium Battery

That's right, 8,760 hours of Continuous Illumination!

Pak-Lite was powered by a Lithium Battery in the low mode for "one year" continuously. After one year, the Pak-Lite was dim, but you could still read a newspaper with the soft white light it continued to give off. One Year of Light! Wow!
